Setting up an estate plan can seem daunting to most people and, sadly, is one of the most common reasons estate planning is put off. LivingTrustify was started because we wanted to make the process simple and convenient for you. A common question we hear is what information needs to be gathered before starting your estate plan with LivingTrustify.

If you’re not sure where to begin, we’ve got an answer for you – the start! Just make an account with LivingTrustify and get started on the interview process. If you reach a question that requires some more thought, the information you have entered is saved and you can come back at any time where you left off.

We don’t ask for bank account numbers or anything specific like that, so gathering that type of information is unnecessary. However, you will be asked who you want to make financial and medical decisions for you if you are unable to do so as well as who will distribute your assets to your beneficiaries. These types of questions take some thought, these are big responsibilities!

As financial and medical decisionmakers, you can name two people to act together and you are encouraged to name backup decision makers if the person you named is unable to act. We have helpful FAQs during the interview that can help guide you in making your decision as well. And remember, all the information that you enter is saved automatically, you can go back to it when you’re ready.

If you are still wondering what you need to do, creating an account with LivingTrustify doesn’t cost you anything and neither does going through the interview. The truth is that everyone needs an estate plan and we’re here to make is easy for you!
